HIV
Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) is a virus that disrupts the immune system by destroying cells responsible for fighting infection. The Performer Availability Screening Service includes HIV in the 14 day clearance testing panel. HIV testing has been used to prevent infections in the adult industry since the late 1990s. PASS testing protocols have prevented any transmission of HIV on PASS-compliant sets since 2004.

Hepatitis B
Hepatitis B is a viral infection of the liver transmitted through bodily fluids such as blood, semen, and breastmilk. A PASS Certified STI panel includes a Hepatitis B test, in addition to six other STIs.
-
Hepatitis C
Hepatitis C is a viral infection of the liver transmitted through contaminated blood entering the bloodstream of another. Today, most people become infected with the Hepatitis C virus by sharing needles or other equipment to prepare or inject drugs. Before 1992, Hepatitis C was also commonly spread through blood transfusions and organ transplants. After that, widespread screening of the blood supply in the United States virtually eliminated this source of infection. PASS includes Hepatitis C in testing protocols in order to ensure the health and safety of performers.
