Jordan Holberg Joins PASS as Chief Technology Officer
Technologist Jordan Holberg has joined Performer Availability Screening Services (PASS) as the organization’s first Chief Technology Officer. Holberg, who will serve PASS on a pro bono basis, brings twenty years of experience building and managing corporate digital architecture, with specialized experience in blockchain technology.
“We are incredibly fortunate to have Jordan on the PASS team,” says Ian O’Brien, Executive Director of PASS. “He not only brings a wealth of experience to the fight, he brings energy, creativity and a passion for innovation. We’ve always been an industry at the forefront of new technologies, and with Jordan as a guide, I believe we can reimagine the possibilities for PASS. I can’t thank him enough for donating his time and expertise.”
Holberg, a veteran of mainstream marketing and commerce giants like GameStop, Barneys and TBWA\Chiat\Day, connected with O’Brien during a mixer hosted by crypto payments leader SpankChain. Holberg quickly saw the potential for blockchain to strengthen and transform PASS’s independent testing database. When O’Brien began scouting for a CTO, Holberg was one of the first names on the list.
As CTO, Holberg will focus on ways to further secure and improve the functionality of the database for the global performer community, as well as use technology to expand the mission of PASS. While the integrity and security of the data are of paramount importance, Holberg is looking for ways to streamline communication with labs and enhance the performer experience.
“I am honored to be a part of this extraordinary project,” says Holberg. “PASS is so much more than a database, and from my first conversations with Ian, I saw the potential to build a truly world-class tool for adult performers. While I’m a relative newcomer to the industry, I am passionate about sexual health and sex worker rights, and believe PASS can help bring necessary and positive change. I’m glad to be aboard and am eager to get to work.”
